HOW TO MAKE STONE CARPET?
Unfortunately, there are too many wrong practices and systems in this regard in our country. Stone carpet flooring is a coating that can be applied both indoors and outdoors, as we mentioned above. For this reason, the application is made in 2 different systems.
For outdoor applications; There are 2 main products in stone carpet application.
Stone Binder Resin
Natural stone
Stone binder resin is the most important part for this. It is the product that determines the performance of the application. Especially the most wrong application system is not choosing the binder resin correctly. The healthiest method of floor covering is done on a solid concrete. A correct primer application is required to ensure high adherence to the Stone Carpet to be made on the concrete surface. It is necessary to use this binder because the binder resin definitely has POLYURETHANE binder (100% UV resistant, weather resistant, etc.) properties in outdoor areas. .How important is the binding resin in this application, it is a very important issue in the stone to be used. It is absolutely necessary to use DRUMED SPECIAL STONE while applying stone carpet. Crushed stone is the preferred applications in the Turkish market due to the costs.
This crushed stone product is NOT THE RIGHT PRODUCT FOR STONE CARPET APPLICATION. It has not been strictly checked before the application and this detail should be asked before the job. Especially in any country in Europe that first introduced this application, crushed stone is not used. Because stones that are not tumbled will remain weak in the application and scattering will occur in a short time. Stone carpet application should be made with a minimum thickness of 8 mm.
In a system of this thickness, a minimum of 18 kg of Tanned stone + 1.50 kg of resin should be used. After the application is completed, a final layer sealing system should be applied. At the final seal, approx. The application should be completed by sealing the system with 200gr resin.
HOW IS THE APPLICATION MADE IN INDOOR AREAS?
The stone carpet application is applied in the above system, just like the application outdoors. After the application is completed, the pore sealer MUST BE APPLIED to make it suitable for the interior. Bu kırma taş ürünü TAŞ HALI UYGULAMASI İÇİN DOĞRU BİR ÜRÜN DEĞİLDİR.Uygulama yapılmadan önce kesinlikle kontrol edilmedi ve iş öncesinde bu detay sorulmalıdır.Özellikle bu uygulamayı ilk hayata sokan avrupa'daki hiçbir ülke'de kırma taş kullanımı olmaz. Taş halı uygulaması dış mekandaki uygulama gibi yukarıdaki sistem uygulama yapılır. Uygulama tamamlandıktan sonra iç mekan'a uygun hale gelmesi için gözenek kapatıcı KESİNLİKLE UYGULANMALIDIR. Bu aşama tamamlandıktan sonra son kat vernik (mat, parlak seçeneği ile) uygulama sistemi mühürlenerek tamamlanmalıdır.İç mekan taş halı uygulaması bu sayede temizliği kolay özellikle ofis vb. alanlar için yüksek performans gösteren bir kaplama yapılmış olur.
